SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES
A closer look at some of the chemicals found in tobacco and cigarettes - to help people appreciate that it is not just a plant.  Then a detailed look at how these chemicals affect the body.
 
ACTIVITIES
 
CHEMICAL GAME
A bag of chemicals is given to each team. They must correctly match the chemical name to the chemical representation.  Some of these are fairly challenging.
 
Teams must then answer questions about the chemicals listed.
 
PICTURES AND POSTERS
Looking at the short and long term effects that smoking can have on the body.  We use some fairly graphic pictures, please use discretion with your students.
 
QUITTING TIME LINE GAME
The benefits of stopping smoking must be matched to the correct time frame.  Demonstrating the value of stopping smoking.
